Late ride

Well... I worked 11.5 hours... I was hot... sweaty... mosquito bitten... but I rode. :) I came home and made dinner and ate with Mike and then rushed out to Ashland. I left the house at 7:30 and we got home at 9:30, but I got a great dressage school in and a short hack to the lake and back. 

We had a great ride!! He was forward!! So forward!! Almost too forward :) But not really. We had some really good trot lengthens too!! They felt like real powerful lengthens, not speedens. ;) 

Then we went to the lake for a little soak and walked back. We stopped on the side and there was a HUGE splash... repeatedly. I am guessing it was a beaver that was mad??? But we pretended it was Nessie. ;)

Such a good pony!
