Saturday Dressage Fancy Pants

Fun day! Got up and rode with Kelli... Did some dressage and then went for a hack. He felt AMAZING!!!! super sound, super forward, and boingy. Almost medium'ed right out of the arena in the small arena practicing the training eventing test.

then home and to the lake with mike..

Chill Ride

Nice quiet hack since today was our first ride back from IRAP (well, not technically, but... oops). Just a nice long walk with a teensy bit of trot and canter.  And.. he was so good about the tractor mowing!

Photo Shoot

Still recovering from IRAP, so... photo shoot. Meg had to come get me because Sally and Adam couldn't fit and get turned around at Simply Dressage. We had fun. Got glammed up... did some still shots... and then we cheated and did two little jump shots, but we nailed it!!! Hopefully they turn out perfect for Carly.
Dan felt pretty good though and he's obviously BORED!

Dressage and Hack and IRAP

Dressage... rode Training Test A... because... you know... N/T at Chatt ;) eeeks!  he learned the canter lengthen on a circle pretty quickly... good ride. Then a hack...

Then hauled to Dr. Laura for recheck. Ultrasound showed maybe something in lateral meniscus, but... IRAP anyways....  and in fact, he looked more sound than 2 weeks ago with just the bit of bute and no wedges, so.. yay
