Today was a lazy day! We went on a trail ride with Marvin and Kelli. We took a lazy walk, since Marvin is rehabbing. We saw the baby geese. It was a short ride because we had our vet visit after.
Dr. Barrow said he looked pretty good. She thought his stifle wasn't too bad. But his hocks were a bit sore. And we looked and it's been awhile. So we injected his hocks and his right stifle. We did steroids in his hocks and Noltrex in his stifle. (It looked good on ultrasound, so we figured it was more boney). We x-rayed his left stifle, and that one looks pretty dang nice. He was drunk!! We had to hang out a bit before we could go home. And then I did overnight in the stall, since it was noltrex. But he got trazadone so he was a happy(ish) camper. I turned him out in the morning though, because... we're not up for more than that. Either of us!
