We can ride! We did our "time off" after our neck nerve root injections like we were supposed to. Okay, mostly like we were supposed to. He probably should have been in a stall or small paddock that first night, but... I think he was just so happy to be out and grazing he looked peaceful enough. Although I'm pretty sure that him breaking loose and galloping like a fool for 8 minutes was not proper groundwork protocol! ha ha.
Anyways... We got to Ashland and did some dressage work before we met Peri to ride. I was a hair late and she was a bit early but that's okay. She didn't mind and I was pretty good about not feeling rushed about it.
