Super Pony

 FABULOUS boy today.

rode at home. played with saddle pads... don't think the liner pad and blankets work. saddle sits too low. maybe need a thicker pad or shims. but seems to be good in the brown and turquoise felt pad... 

rode up to the arena and played. did the obstacles and nailed them. like foot perfect. livestock pen had a beautiful turn on the haunches to the left (don't go right.. left is way easier), perfect switch cup rein back, did the single slalom great. gate and reverse gate well. jumped the jumped without being stupid. did drums and figure 8 great. played with canter and it felt amazing. Had to keep it very short before he faltered out of it, but it felt glorious. did lose his hind end once... just left his right hind out behind him. played with canter from walk even and cantering between obstacles just for fun. good pony. did some leg yield and trot circles. 

hacked back home. bestest boy
