Birthday Boy!
Lesson working on collecting the trot and canter. Making him sit and get quicker behind and lift and be more free up front. Practiced trot half pass and was acceptable. Will need to practice and slowly build the collected works now.
He uses his neck to brace, so.... I may have to overbend to prevent him from using his underneck. Not to get him bent. Ride him straight, with correct bend, on the outside rein, but if he starts to brace, then overbend to prevent it.
