New Years Beach Trip: Day two

Ahhhh....we slept in today! It was a lazy day. Then we went and fed the ponies and got them some hay while we went to talk to the Camelot Farm people. We got their advice on some trails and chatted. The boys were ready for a ride so we tacked up and off we went! We started down towards Camelot farm and went through the woods. We hit a wet spot and the boys had to go through deep mud. G looked like he was wearing black boots! It was that thick sludgy stuff! We found a little tree that had fallen to jump! Dan was good and hopped over. So then we trekked on farther and went down through the Coffin Point area. We found the Sound and let the boys see the ocean! They were both so good! The waves were a little bit alarming at first, but they both settled into it nicely and got close to the water. We then kept going and explored some other areas and tried to find the Forest Gump Tree. We rode for a lot and had fun, but never found the tree. Then I started to get a migraine, so we rode past our rental house. Liz held the boys while I hopped off and got a pill and some food. Then she got some food and I held the boys and let them graze in the back yard. The neighbor checked on us to make sure we weren't robbers. Hee hee... Riding robbers :) So we rode some more, and still never found the tree. 

Then we turned the boys out and went and got some dinner. It was super delicious but the slowest restaurant EVER!!!
