Today we had a XC lesson with Jacl and Laura and S
marty. We just took it easy and had fun. As long as Dan was enjoying it, we played. And he enjoyed it. I rode on a loose rein for most of it. And it was good for me.
I learned to rate him by my body vs my hands. even tough I tried... ha ha.. waving my hands around a good bit. ha ha. jacel laughed at me. She said I am her, she is me. and the good news is that because I wasn't riding him that hard... he had the opportunity to stop. and he didn't. so I think he was having fun.
then went for a bareback hack after to splash in the lake. still not as much fun without friends.
