still clean. teller and judy came to us, teller and dan got along great!
got settled in aiken and dan is a houdini... used OFF bug spray to keep him from chewing on wood... tied his door shut... him and teller had a ball.
clinic: educational and fun. dan was super. put bit in because he was a bit sassy but settled nicely and no tongue. :) :) hung with Liz and watched a bit. fed and went to liz's... walked hitchcock for 45 min or so and showered and ate dinner at the house. judy went to eat with katherine and did night check.
show day: mostly clean. a tiny bit sassy and almost stuck his tongue out (also did sucralfate so bet that helped...but he was eating and drinking awesomely). but then totally fine. great test! got 2nd of 8 and a high score. lovely comments from judge and she even later told me how nice and flowing and harmonious and happy he was!!! YAY!!!!
then hung out and had lunch and boys were fine in stall. rained. the sun came out and slightly misted on us but did our warm up. good pony. then went to watch and do our ease of handling. he got a tiny bit nervous to leave teller but i told him to go strut and show off and strut he did. lovely round... he was almost perfect! In my eyes. had a blast. got told how nice of a round it was by some auditors.
people loved my hat too.
great weekend. fun ride home with judy and liz behind us. fun weekend with friends. and most importantly... a happy happy pony.
