Rode this am before dentist. Nice and cool weather. Well, cool for August. Not as humid.
Tacked up and tossed neck rope on. Jeans' interns were setting jumps so rode around. pretty good boy. still feels lame... short somewhere... right front? Right hind? But no tongue. warmed up and got nice leg yields and then played with neck rope only. pretty good considering. sometimes didn't want to make full circle but mostly was really good. did shoulder in and haunches in nicely, but with neck rope only wasn't as "bent" throughout the whole body.. more just haunches in but not bending. got a decent half pass both ways.
tried cantering. left not too bad. right not as terrible feeling but definitely couldn't hold it long. good try! did a bit more and felt half sound half lame. definitely more resistant to bending right.
then headed home via jean's driveway and instead of turning to trailer dan wanted to explore so went to skyline drive and he turned left... went down to the culdesac across and then wandered back.
