Rode in Kelli's black baroque saddle, that was technically made for Lyric, but then widened. So thought we'd try it on Dan.. fit decently. Gave it a whirl
Went for a long hack...
then finished in arena. Felt okay.... wasn't going to do lateral work because of the recent rides but wanted to test the saddle theory.... so did trot.. then shoulder in both ways, then leg yield both ways, then haunches in both ways, and then a half pass each way. by second half pass got chompy and would have stuck his tongue out had I kept going, so I quit. finished with a nice shallow leg yield each way. still anxious but no tongue. sigh...
