Ugh... Maybe I can't ride Western. :( I tried again... I switched back to my english leathers and had to go up three holes!! Like... three holes compared to what my english dressage leathers are usually at. So... I don't know if the western saddle is "thinner" but it certainly doesn't feel like it. The twist is wider. But maybe there is a lot more "meat" to an english saddle. ??? I have no idea. But Dan was good.
I played with them briefly but was mostly just trying to get them right for the show. Ugh. I guess I'll use my english leathers and just hope the western stirrups will fit on them and no one will notice. It's a schooling show anyways, but... argh!
