So.... apparently Dan has now figured out how to open the red latch gate. I had him in his patio and next thing I know... he's in the pasture. Just standing there eating the hay right by the water trough, but... NOT in his patio! Of course once he saw me coming he took off a bit. He looked phenomenal at the trot though!! His canter looked a little sketchy though. Ooops! Definitely not supposed to be cantering sir! He let me catch him pretty easily though. And there was no swelling and no heat. And the sheath swelling is improving. So... I let him go out in the middle pasture tonight. And he was such a happier camper! And really, he was behaving himself, even when the girls were being silly. Good choice sir! Good choice!
Ahh.... there is light at the end of the tunnel!
